After years of helping friends and family design their spaces Michelle decided to take her passion and turn it into a profession! Since going back to school for design in 2009, Michelle and Miles have been transforming homes and office spaces in a way that aligns with their clients’ taste and vision. With the intent that no two designs are the same, the couple seeks to create unique designs that are truly tailored to the client. We pride ourselves on investing time into getting to know those whom we work with in order to create the design they have always wanted! They are a TEAM and as Michelle likes to say, "I create the fairy tale and he is the muscle behind the magic, making all of my dreams come true!"

My experience with MM Design and Décor began a few years ago after I purchased new furniture that I loved in the showroom, but hated once it got into my house. Working within the limitations of this mistake plus all of the artwork, other furnishings and prior renovations that I was not willing to change, Michelle was able to move things around to balance proportions, tie in colors and patterns that previously had not matched, and transform the look of my home to a much higher level. Furthermore, she added details such as picture frames, tabletop décor and other items that gave my home a finished look. She incorporated our casual lifestyle and the need for us to live closely with two large dogs into her work, making our home both lovely and comfortable. When redesigning our laundry room, she created an awesome pet bath that she designed from scratch. It includes a raised shower stall with a built-in pull-out step underneath to help the dogs jump in, a professional hand-held spray nozzle that I can use for the dogs or other chores, and even a fold-out glass splash guard to contain the water that the dogs shake off. Michelle worked as quickly as I needed to make my house ready for anything, and slowed down as I needed to so that I could pace my budget. I found this company to be honest and fair, and I recommend it without reservation.
